Our Promise to You — We want you to love your TruShot photos. If you genuinely tested the service and it didn't work for you, we'll make it right — within the conditions below.

A note on digital services — Because TruShot is a digital AI service that begins processing immediately after purchase, your statutory right of withdrawal under EU/UK regulations is forfeited once generation starts. The 14-day guarantee above is our voluntary commitment — it goes beyond what we are legally required to offer, and is subject to the eligibility conditions below.

How Your Credits Work

Your plan comes with a credit balance, not a fixed number of photos. Different generation modes use different amounts of credits:

Example: A 50-credit plan gives you 25 Normal photos, 5 Pro photos, or any mix in between. You choose how to spend your credits.

Can I Get a Refund?

You may qualify for a refund if you meet ALL of the following:

  • You request within 14 days of purchase.
  • You have used less than 10% of your credits. (Each generation has real compute costs on our end.)
  • You tested at least 3 different style templates.
  • You tried Pro Mode (if included in your plan).
  • Your generated photos were uploaded to a live dating profile.
  • Your profile was active and visible for at least 7 consecutive days.
  • Your dating app search radius was set to 50 km or more.
  • Your age range was set to a spread of at least 19 years.
  • Your input photos met our quality guidelines.

Important — All conditions above must be met at the same time. Meeting some but not all does not qualify you for a refund.

When Refunds Are Not Available

  • More than 10% of credits have been used.
  • You used credits after submitting your refund request.
  • Photos were not uploaded to a dating app.
  • Profile was hidden or inactive during the 7-day test period.
  • Dating app settings were not optimised (range or age spread too narrow).
  • Input photos were low quality (blurry, sunglasses, group shots, etc.).
  • Request was made after 14 days from purchase.
  • A refund was previously issued to your account.

Image Likeness

TruShot's AI generation technology leads the market in facial accuracy, with a lower failure rate than all major competitors. Every photo is generated based on the character created by you from the images you upload — your results depend on the quality of your input photos.

For this reason, all likeness disputes are verified objectively using Amazon Rekognition facial similarity scoring. A score of 95% or above confirms the service was delivered accurately. This is the industry standard for facial identity verification — it measures your face, not your opinion of it.

How to Request a Refund

Email us at [email protected] with the subject: Refund Request — [Your Order Number]

Include the following:

  1. Your order number and purchase date.
  2. Screenshot of your TruShot account showing credit usage below 10%.
  3. Screenshots of your generated photos live on your dating profile.
  4. Dating app settings showing search radius ≥50 km and age spread ≥19 years.
  5. Date-stamped proof of 7+ days of active profile use.
  6. Brief description of the issue and what you observed.

We review all complete requests within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
